• Listing Broker Compensation: As of today, August 1st, listing brokers will no longer be offering compensation to buyer's agents in the MLS. Previously, sellers could offer a commission as an incentive to buyer's agents to help their clients purchase a home, lessening the financial burden on buyers. This practice has ended.
• Immediate Impact in Las Vegas:This change has already been adopted by nearly every brokerage in Las Vegas. It's crucial to work with knowledgeable professionals who can guide you through these new changes and ensure you are comfortable and confident in the process.
• National Changes on August 17th:On August 17th, further national changes will take effect, aligning with the modifications that started in Las Vegas.
